If you love chocolate and peanut butter, and don't want to feel guilty eating it for breakfast, this is the recipe for you. Sweetened with banana and a touch of maple syrup, it's like you're eating dessert for breakfast but without the sugar crash! Easy to throw together the night before or day-of, this recipe takes less than 10 minutes and uses 6 ingredients that you've already got in your pantry.
- 1.5 cups almond milk or milk of choice
- 1/3 cup chia seeds
- 1/3 cup cacao powder
- 1/2 small banana
- 3-4 Tbsp peanut butter
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup
Add all ingredients to Vitamix or Blender.
Blend on high for 2-3 minutes, scraping down the sides as necessary.
Before eating, finish off with toppings of choice - granola, extra nut butter/chocolate drizzle, fresh fruit, etc.
If storing, keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Will thicken further if kept in fridge overnight.
