  • 1 ea. bell pepper chopped (any color)
  • 1 ea. jalapeño minced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 15 oz. cans black beans plus liquid from can
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne

Instructions

  • Heat a pan over medium heat and add olive oil.
  • Sauté onion & bell pepper on medium heat until translucent, 3-5 minutes.
  • Add garlic/jalapeño and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  • Add black beans, including the liquid in the can, plus the salt, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne.
