Only 5 ingredients, one pot, and less than 30 minutes to make these perfectly fluffy Savory Steel Cut Oats. A great addition for your meal prep rotation or a new side dish to try out with dinner.
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic pressed
- 1 1/3 cups vegetable stock or water
- .5 tsp salt
Add all ingredients to a non-stick 2 Qt. lidded pot and cover.
Bring to a boil.
Simmer covered for 20 minutes.
Turn off heat. Let rest covered to 10 min then fluff with a fork.
